Help us serve low-income Filipino families in Southern California
Celebrate FMC's 11th anniversary and help make a difference
We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!
Join me in celebrating the Filipino Migrant Center's 11th anniversary. Please consider donating to support our ongoing work and invest in the empowerment and leadership of Filipino families, youth, immigrants, low-wage workers, and human trafficking survivors who are giving their voices, skills, and acts of compassion to build communities based on justice.
Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for the FILIPINO MIGRANT CENTER.
Here in San Diego, I'm a volunteer with Bayanihan Community Response (BCR), a project of FMC. BCR was created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We've helped serve the Filipino working-class community in National City and Paradise Hills. We've given free blood pressure monitors, PPEs, groceries, gift cards, and produce to Filipino families and elders in need. Our current projects include hosting zine-making workshop for high school students and conducting surveys to figure out what are the needs, interests, and aspirations of working-class Filipinos in San Diego.
Your donations will help us grow and expand our work so we can better serve our community here! As someone who lived in National City at a young age and returned as an adult, it is so fulfilling to help my community here, especially those who suffering the most from the current health and economic crisis.
