Help us serve low-income Filipino families in Southern California

I have been a dedicated volunteer for the Filipino Migrant Center since 2013 and continue to volunteer because I have seen first hand the way in which FMC has been able to touch peoples lives and build genuine community power.

When the COVID-19 lock down happened, low-income families were impacted severely. As a volunteer, we launched the Bayanihan Community Response which brought together youth, students, caregivers/domestic workers, and professionals who wanted to volunteer their time & talents to help our most vulnerable community members. We organized food drop offs, educational resource calls, and fundraisers to help families whose livelihoods were impacted.
