I am currently helping to fundraise money to support the community work of the Filipino Migrant Center or FMC, a non-profit social organization working alongside the community to serve and building up the community power of migrant and working class Filipinos in the Long Beach and Carson area and are branching out to serve the greater Los Angeles County. This organization means a lot to me and the services that they provide truly seek to and accomplish the need of addressing the greater needs of the Filipino community. Through youth leadership conferences, worker organizing, and youth workshops, and community integration, FMC is able to truly live out the spirit of "Bayanihan".
